5/9-5/12 Paris, France

We took the Eurostar train through the Chunnel to get to Paris, finally getting a new stamp in our passport.

Highlights of the trip included Eiffel Tower and getting up at 5:30 am to watch Steph Curry bury the Trailblazers in his first game back from injury.

Chattier as recommended by Tyler and Jenny for our first meal. Delicious!
Adrian celebrating the discovery of the Louvre
Adrian by the Seine
The Tour de Adrian continues…
Elected to take the stairs up the Eiffel Tower. Here we are part way up
Adrian excited that she finally got to climb the Eiffel Tower not on the Cal Poly stair stepper.
Nate forgot to take any pictures of the effiel tower but we’ve got a few selfies as evidence
We actually skipped going in the Louvre and instead went to the Musee D’Orsay across the river. Lots of Monets and other impressionist works as well as a few Van Goghs. Were learning the smaller museums are better for our attention spans…
Chillin with Quasimodo and the Gargoyles
Inside Notre Dame. Who knew those opened??
Dinner… had to exchange money for tokens called “groins” to pay. Thank god our bartender was a patient English-speaker.
The Arc de Trump.. err.. Triomphe
Martin and Carol treated us to a night at the Moulin Rouge!

  1. Wow, that’s an amazing photo of the stained glass inside Notre Dame – had no idea those windows opened. So glad you went to the Musee D’Orsay. And you both look fab for the Moulin Rouge! Mom x
